Product Manager // Bethel Music

As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for the inventory of products and managing merchandise. You will work closely with both Bethel Music and Bethel Media Commerce Teams fulfilling the needs for albums, merchandise, and tours. This requires a high level of organization to make sure that the supply and demand of everyday sales for events and tours are fulfilled on time and with accuracy. As the Product Manager, you are responsible for product merchandising and coordination of all product categories within Apparel, Accessories, Physical Media, and Gifts.  Additionally, Managing the product line and developing the product assortment for Bethel Music. In your position, you will maintain all records relating to Bethel Music Merchandising. You will own the seasonal assortments and product life cycle, including all process and procedures in alignment with Bethel Media/Bethel Music. This position will report to the Bethel Music Creative Director.

Expected Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including design, events, warehouse, finance, and customer service to ensure brand consistency and ensure all teams are abreast on overall product initiatives.  
  • Aggregation, Inventory Management for all Tours/Events/Distributors/Wholesale Accounts.
  • Partnering with the Marketing Team to ensure that products arrive on time for product promotion.
  • Manage product sales performance reports.  
  • Manage the order fulfillment process including order entry and administration.
  • Oversee the order tracking process and ensure orders are processed in accordance with the organization's customer service standards.
  • Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
  • Manage merchandise assortment plan on annual, seasonal, and per event basis.
  • Manage product style information, style count (including colorways, descriptions and measurements), technical, and marketing as well as SRRP, MRRP.  Retail and wholesale.
  • Present product information to key internal and external team members in a comprehensive, clear, and tactical manner. Comes armed with research, data points, and preparedness on assortment/merchandise lines.
  • Manage, distribute, and maintain all information across all product categories, encompassing mock ups, line lists, and CAD’s.
  • Sample and Production Development and Sample and Production Management (PO Requisitions. PO’s. and Invoices).
  • Understand manufacturing processes, capabilities, building product briefs with material, labor, finishing, in order to achieve target MSRPs and Target Margin requirements.
  • Examine and analyze sales reports and track success and failure of products and determine reasons for success and or failure.
  • Perform research on new products, techniques, applications, treatments, trims...
  • Manage monthly product development calendar.

  • Proven work experience as a Merchandise Manager, Product Developer and/or Designer of Apparel and or Accessories.
  • Expertise in coordinating and managing Product Development.
  • Sourcing, Procurement, and Project Management.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal, presentation, and problem solving. Team Player.
  • Analytical skills. Ability to think strategically and act tactically.
  • Computer Skills. Adobe Illustrator.  Google Suite.
